About The Host
Hi! I'm Noelle, the creator of "An Umbrella For Change." I created this podcast for a project I am currently working on as part of my internship in Washington, DC this semester. I wanted to create this podcast because disability awareness is so important to me. My brother has Autism Spectrum Disorder and I wanted to create a safe space for people who may be going through challenges that come along with having or caring for someone with disabilities such as finding services. I hope you enjoy, if you are interested in being on the podcast please contact me.

"This episode was very informative. I really liked how professional it was especially since Noelle was interviewing her mom. I really learned a lot and will definitely keep an eye out for the next episode!"

"It's so important to hear the stories of families who went through or are going through the process of getting their child or young adult the services they deserve. I look forward to hearing more! It would be great to hear your mom get into more of what types of services were offered when he was younger and how that changes overtime (if it changed) and what the services did for your brother and family. How it helped and what you wish you had been done! Well done Noelle💖💖💖💖"

"I think this is something everyone needs to listen to! It's very important to know how people with disabilities are treated, and how difficult it can be for them to navigate through a system that doesn't prioritize them. Noelle delivers in a very professional and informative way, describing her family's hardships, and how important this matter is. I'm very interested in hearing more!"
